ABOUT
Bianca Bustamante is a rising motorsport star who is currently signed for a full 2025 season with Elite Motorsport, competing in the GB3 Championship, as she climbs a step up the racing ladder towards her dream of one day competing in Formula 1.
She recently concluded her 2-year racing campaign in the all-female racing series, F1 Academy. Having competed in both local and international championships since the age of 5, racing is something she has dedicated her life to. Her ambition is to show the world that Asian drivers can compete on the global stage, and disrupt motorsport by demonstrating women can win at the top levels of a male-dominated sport.

HER STORY
Bianca Bustamante burst onto the karting scene at a young age and has since established herself as an up and coming driver to keep tabs on.
After repeatedly dominating in the Asian karting scene, Bianca was selected as the only contestant from Asia for the 2021 FIA Girls on Track - Rising Stars scholarship. Eventually a year later, she managed to secure a seat in the W Series after an impressive performance in the pre-season Barcelona test. From there, she kicked off her journey in single-seater Formula cars, as she also competed in various F4 Championships.
In 2023, she signed a full year with PREMA Racing for the inaugural season of F1 Academy, an all-female racing series founded by Formula 1. Her first year in the series found her with 4 podium finishes and 2 wins: in Valencia which marked her maiden career win, followed by Monza.
For her final year in F1 Academy, she raced alongside ART Grand Prix, with the support of McLaren Racing. At this time, she was the first female to have joined the McLaren Driver Development programme and with their guidance throughout the season, Bianca was able to grow both on and off track. Being that this was the racer’s last year in the all-female series, she was focused on progressing, and climbing up the motorsport ladder.
The journey up has not been easy, with her opportunities primarily relying on commercial ambassadorships and sponsorships. Though her hard work has been recognized, as she recently placed 64th in SportsPro’s Most Marketable Athletes of 2024, and listed in Forbes Europe’s 30 Under 30 in 2025.
Now Bianca is transitioning out of Formula 4 cars, and competing in a faster, and higher downforce car in the GB3 Championship with Elite Motorsport. This move is a fundamental step as looks to reach for her next goal, FIA F3, in her continuous climb up to reach her Everest: Formula One.
